About us
AMALIA stands for Archives, Manuscripts, and Ancient Books. Founded in 2018 as an association, it became a Third Sector Entity in 2022, officially registered in the Italian National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS).
Its founding members are professionals in the fields of archival science, librarianship, and international cooperation on cultural heritage. Thanks to this expertise, AMALIA works to protect, preserve, restore, and promote written heritage, with projects ranging from Italy to a global context.
