20 December 2022 – The project on manuscripts in Mali, supported by ALIPH Foundation, keeps progressing: in addition to preservation activities and technical training we have done dissemination initiatives that will be further developed next year.
We also contributed to the Festival de la Lecture Vivante in Timbuktu.
The link between heritage and community is our goal also in Italy: with the project on bookbindings, supported by the Piedmont Region, we identify and promote significant bookbindings in local collections; the workshops with FAI Castello di Masino lead participants from the historical library to the discovery of the techniques and crafts of books.
The book to be protected and preserved, but also the book as a creative experience: we will have all this next year an much more. Please keep following us and supporting our actions for written cultural heritage and communities. Thank you from all of us!
