Resuming activities in Italy: workshops at Masino Castle

In July 2020 AMALIA resumed its activities in Italy: it did so with two workshops on the subject of decorated paper, held on 4th and 11th July, thanks to the collaboration with FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano.

The beautiful Masino Castle in Caravino (TO), located on a hill overlooking the Canavese plain, was the location of two workshops on the topics of paper and printing; its historical library gave the participants the opportunity of seeing historical samples of decorated papers. The participants made their own creations with screen printing technique (4th July) and “papier à la colle” technique (11th July) and enjoyed the visit to the library of the Castle, where historical samples are preserved.
